I was born 9th February 1989 to Jonah Dakwat Yildum and Helen Jonah Yildum from Horop, Bokkos Local Government Council and Farin Kasa, Mangu Local Government Council of Plateau State, Nigeria respectively.
I began my Primary Education at the age of seven (7), 1996, in The Kings School, Gana Ropp, Barkin Ladi L.G.A. It was a boarding primary school where I learnt how to read, speak English and most importantly live an independent life without my parents. I went for my high school in Emmanuel International College, Jos, Plateau State where I obtained my Junior Secondary School Certficate. I went further to Shekinah Glory International Christian Academy, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, where I obtained my Senior Secondary School Certificate (2005).
I Joined Youth With A Mission (University of the Nations), Port Harcourt, at the age of Seventeen (17) in 2006 where I got a certificate in Discipleship Training School (DTS). This was the beginning of my journey with missionaries. I joined in voluntary service with them in 2007 becoming one of their staffs. In my service with Youth With A Mission I learnt accountability and dedication to God. I received no payment or allowance for my service but rather paid N4,000 naira monthly to serve.
In October 2007 I left for Maiduguri, Borno State, where I joined in re-pioneering a new base for Youth With A Mission with Michael Kurams as State Director. I was the acting administrator until I left Maiduguri in December same year and I went further with the same organisation to obtain a certificate in Biblical Studies where I studied and read the bible word for word at least three times in nine months. It gave me a broader understanding on the scripture.
Subsequently, I proceeded to Ghana where I obtained a certificate in Communication. It was intense but it really broadened my horizon on issues because we got involved in an intense research into other cultures not just within Africa and beyond.
Furthermore, I landed in East Africa/ Tanzania still working as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) where I lectured students about the Bible and the mystery within Christianity that should never be ignored or avoided. My journey with YWAM later came to an end in the physical but not in spirit and I ventured into the non faith based atmosphere where I found myself in London Metropolitan University which obviously is in London.
I subsequently got myself involved in politics and helped in electing the first opposition party in Nigeria in 2015. I was part of the team that fought and helped got Mohammed Buhari and Simon Bako Lalong as President of Nigeria and Governor of Plateau State, Nigeria, respectively.
I have since been involved in the movement to get youths to see reasons to joining politics and being part of fixing the system through an organisation focused on youth empowerment and enlightenment called CENTAVILLE.
CENTAVILLE is a UK incorporated institution trying to build youths across the globe who can and will shape a generation that can lead the World into greater prosperity and Hope through leadership and by sanitising of the system.
